Grace Jackson is 25 and from Manchester

Grace is 25 and from Manchester. Ahead of the villa she was working as a model and influencer, as well as a business owner. As a model she has worked on multiple campaigns, including with Rihanna’s brand Savage X Fenty and FashionNova.

When asked why she wanted to be on Love Island 2024, Grace said: “In my day and age, you don’t meet people on face value, it’s all off Instagram, Twitter and dating apps. Everything’s online! I’m excited to get to know someone on face value, and be somewhere where you’re forced to have a conversation and be a bit more open.

“This is something that would push me out of my comfort zone, I don’t really date a lot. I get myself in situationships with people I know that I shouldn’t give my time to!”

Grace owns two companies: A social management agency called Social Clubhouse, and she also runs an events company called Vamos.

Social Clubhouse, founded in 2021, focuses on “elevating your brand’s digital presence” through social management, influencer marketing and content creation. Grace runs the brand alongside fellow influencer, Gabbi Migas.

It looks as though Vamos is a Manchester-based events company, that has hosted some dates at Kitten in Manchester. Introducing what the brand does on Instagram, it posted: “Experience a night of freedom expressed through the fusion of electronic, Afrobeat and house melodies.”

Before the show, Grace said she’s single because the lifestyle of modelling and owning a business can put guys off. “I like to go out and go abroad a lot,” Grace said. “They can’t keep up with my lifestyle! It’s the life that I want, and it helps with my business. To sit in and be single, I can’t understand why I would do that in my peak and my mid-20s.”

Villa life isn’t any more fancy than what Grace is already used to, because she lives in an incredible penthouse with views across Manchester. Her stunning roof-top apartment comes with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, a wrap around balcony, and she has opted for a simple and modern aesthetic.

It looks as though there are some great facilities in the building she lives in, such as communal sitting areas, outdoor space, a swimming pool and a gym and sauna.

Grace used to date fellow Love Island 2024 cast member Joey Essex

As soon as Grace walked into the Love Island 2024 villa, Joey proclaimed that he already knew her. Earlier this year, before Love Island, Grace and Joey Essex dated for six weeks. Apparently things ended badly, and Grace has now clarified on the show that they spoke on the phone and Joey seemed to go a bit cold on her. They met on holiday and had a bit of a holiday romance, before returning to the UK.

MailOnline has reported Joey originally pursued Grace, and made loads of effort to wine and dine her, before ending things when it started to get more serious. Grace was apparently “hurt and confused” by this sudden end, as she thought things between them were going well. The pair have also said on the show that distance between them didn’t help.

She’s ‘spontaneous, fun and easy going’

Grace described herself as down to earth and easy to talk to, and when asked why she’s a catch, she added: “I’m very loyal! Once I really care about you, I’ll do a lot for you and I’ll always put you first. I very much wear my heart on my sleeve.”

She added her friends and family would describe her as “spontaneous, fun, kind, funny and easy going.”

Of course, his page is mainly all about Sweet Delivery, including a vibey cover picture and incredible headshot profile picture. “My name is Sean, and I run my own online sweet shop, that delivers gourmet confectionery nationwide straight to your doorstep,” his page reads.

Matilda Draper

Bombshell Matilda is also a LinkedIn girlie, with her profile detailing her years of experience in recruiting. In the villa she’s all about finding love and getting some Insta followers, but business Matilda is “passionate about inclusive education environments” and is “known for being friendly and approachable.”

She has over 500 connections, and should be good on Love Island, because one of the top things she’s been endorsed for is “relationship building”.

There is only one thing on Uma’s LinkedIn and it’s pretty iconic. It lists her as a Team Supervisor at Ballie Ballerson, as in the club she met fellow Islander Ronnie at four years ago and they shared a kiss during the Euros. Incredible.

The Lincoln Lawyer

The Lincoln Lawyer, as it sounds, is another legal drama. It’s on Netflix, and the synopsis reads: “Idealistic lawyer Mickey Haller runs his practise out of the back of his Lincoln Town Car, taking on cases big and small across Los Angeles.”

Anatomy of a Scandal

For a fan of a court room drama, Anatomy of a Scandal is for you. It follows parliamentary minister James Whitehouse, who is a happily married man with a loving family home, then a scandalous secret comes to light.

Mindhunter

Mindhunter is another great crime drama, and the numbers do the talking: It scores 97 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes. The Netflix adaptation is based on the 1995 true crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Serial Elite Crime Unit, written by former FBI agent John E. Douglas. It’s set in the late 1970s, and follows two FBI agents who expand criminal science by studying serial killers and their damaged psyches.

The Night Agent

The Night Agent is on Netflix and follows an FBI agent who while monitoring an emergency line, answers a call that plunges him into a deadly conspiracy involving a mole at the White House. Plus, filming for the second season has just wrapped so you’ll have more episodes soon!

Their story goes: Rachel moved in with a woman named Janie Ridd. The two women became best friends, and even co-parented Rachel’s young son together. After sharing a home for several years, Rachel fell deathly ill countless times, with no explanation.

The two women, whose episode on Worst Roommate Ever is titled “My BFF Tried to Kill Me”, lived together in Utah for nearly 25 years before everything came to a boil. So, here’s what happened and where Janie Ridd is now.

What happened to Worst Roommate Ever subjects Rachel and Janie Ridd?

The two women met and moved in together in 1995. In the Netflix show, Rachel described how Janie Ridd became controlling, after a back injury prevented her from working as a paramedic. Rachel was recovering from surgeries, and at the same time found out she was pregnant. This gave Janie “100 per cent control” over her.

For a while, the women co-parented Rachel’s son, but Janie once tried to get custody of the child. Janie apologised, and the women continued to live together.

Then, things took a turn. Rachel began to fall terribly ill all the time, and was hospitalised over her illnesses. At the same time, the FBI began investigating Janie over buying a bacteria called Vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (VRSA) on the dark web. It was believed Janie Ridd had been giving Rachel the bacteria, and also injecting her with insulin.

It was thought Janie’s motive was being obsessed with Rachel’s son, and wanting to have complete control of him. “I really have a hard time believing that the person I’ve known for 25 years, my best friend and roommate, could do what she did,” Rachel said on the Netflix show. “But it was diabolical, it was evil. It was plotted and planned so perfectly.”

Rachel added: “She found joy in tormenting me. I don’t think I was human to her.”

Where is Janie Ridd now?

Janie Ridd was charged with, and convicted of, aggravated abuse of a vulnerable adult, attempted aggravated abuse of a vulnerable adult, and attempted acquisition of a weapon of mass destruction. In 2020, she pleaded guilty to attempted intentional abuse of a disabled or elder adult and attempted possession of a weapon of mass destruction.

She served just over two years before being granted parole and released, in January 2022. Janie Ridd is now 55. A LinkedIn profile which appears to belong to her states she still lives in Utah, and works in an education centre.

According to reports the Islanders are “furious” with ITV over the rules, that mean social media accounts of the Islanders remain dormant whilst they are in the villa. It’s been said they have been “begging” bosses of the show to make a u-turn on the rule, and allow them to have friends and family run their accounts.

The reason why they want their accounts to be active? Followers, of course! The social ban is in place to try and limit the hate the Islanders get whilst they are on the show. It’s been widely scrutinised for it’s effective or not, but one thing is for sure: The Islanders don’t gain as many followers from the show when their accounts aren’t active.

A showbiz insider told The Sun: “They’re coming out the villa to barely any followers and they’re super disappointed. Yes they’re going on there to find love, not Instagram followers, but it is affecting their work opportunities on the outside.

“There’s already so many Islanders they have to compete with for jobs and now they’re struggling to build a following after spending weeks in the villa. Some have complained about it to ITV and asked for the rule to be relaxed.”

Having said this, despite only leaving the villa a matter of days ago – Samantha has bagged herself a brand deal.

Now, the big Bridgerton fans among us will know Benedict marries a woman named Sophie Beckett. The casting call is for a woman called Emily, not Sophie, but of course, Netflix likes to switch a few factors from the books around every now and then.

According to Collider, the call out is for a “major recurring role” with them looking for someone aged 24-30 to play her. Emily is described as “plucky, endlessly resourceful, and having trouble trusting others.”

What makes people think it could be Benedict’s love interest in the fact that it’s a major new role from next season, plus they will be required to film scenes that “involve nudity and scenes of a sexual nature.” In another potential change from the books, Emily is described as being an East Asian female.

Collider has also pointed out a key factor – even though the advert isn’t for a “Sophie” sometimes big shows will use code or cast for characters under different names, to avoid spoilers. It’s been very hush hush who the next season of Bridgerton will focus around, so if suddenly there was a casting call for Sophie, that would give it all away.

All hints are pointing towards this being a big clue Benedict’s story could be told next and Emily is in fact who we know as Sophie, but then again it could be a completely different character. We’ll have to wait and see!

Let’s get one thing said from the outset, these two have never liked each other. They had beef in the villa, kept their little spat going on outside the show, and then went on to be as petty as to not follow each other on Instagram. It’s a mutual hatred, and it always has been.

According to The Sun, Anton is still going for Mitch and wants to settle it in the classic way all reality stars seem to want to these days – in a boxing match. “I want to shut this guy up once and for all — he’s obsessed,” he said.

Speaking of their ongoing beef, he added: “The situation is getting boring now. I want to put it to bed. If you’re going to call me out on a boxing fight then I’m not going to back down.”

Mitch being Messy Mitch obviously isn’t going to just let these comments go. He’s of course clapped back. He said he’d “punch all that Botox out of your face big man”. Um, what the hell is going on?

Mitch added: “I’ll be more than happy to fight you bro. For thousands of pounds to punch your face as many times as I can I’m up for it 100 per cent. We know we don’t like each other, I’ve got no respect for you at all.”

Anton has previously spoken about himself and Mitch having beef since the Love Island: All Stars villa. He said he was “never particularly friendly” with Mitch, and it’s escalated since.

“Mitch said he’s got no respect for me and made some comment about my hairline saying I must have been in Turkey getting my hair done. He’s held a grudge,” Anton said.

“He’s tried to belittle my relationship with Georgia after we left the villa. I was never particularly friendly with him but when the situation with Liberty came about I made him look so small.”

I need to sit down. This is all too much.

We all remember the Sara cheating scandal. It caused her and bestie Eden to end their friendship for good, when Eden revealed to the group Sara had met up with her ex during filming, when she was married to Tim. Then there was the whole did they or didn’t they hook up just before the show drama, and it all ended in a lot of screaming over dinner party tables.

Despite everything, Sara and Tim lasted to the final vows, and split shortly after. Now, Lauren has said there was a scene during the time when the cheating scandal was coming out that didn’t make it to air.

Speaking to Popsugar Australiain an Instagram Reel, Lauren said part of the dinner party where it all kicked off was cut. “The entire table took their opportunity to start yelling at [Sara] and having a go at her, which to me was insane – because most people didn’t say a word to any of the guys when something came up – but as soon as it was Sara, everyone jumped down her throat,” she said.

Lauren went on to say other members of the cast had their microphones muted, so it looked as though Sara was “yelling at everyone”. She said: “They muted the rest of the table’s mics to make it look like she was yelling at everyone, which was not the case.”

Lauren then convinced Sara to leave, which she did, and Lauren said she thinks MAFS didn’t air this because producers didn’t want the viewers to turn on her for supporting Sara.

“I actually ended up pulling my mic off, she pulled hers out and we stormed out, and I was the one that was kind of like, ‘Let’s get the f**k out of here’,” Sara said.

“They didn’t show any of my reactions, they didn’t show me speaking, and I think they did that because [the] god fairies in the editing room were worried that if I was kind of defending her too much, then the audience would turn on me. I wish that they showed me defending her, because that’s what should’ve happened from everyone else.”
