From mysteriously changing hairstyles mid scene to side characters somehow transporting across the room at society events, here’s a run down of all the sloppiest editing errors in Bridgerton season three that you won’t be able to unsee:

Penelope’s hair goes up and down in the mirror scene

This editing error happens in episode five in what is being called the mirror scene by Bridgerton fans. We see Colin and Penelope stood in front of a mirror and they both watch as he undresses her before they have sex for the first time. The first item of clothing that Colin removes is a hair pin that is holding Penelope’s hair up. We see her hair fall down over her shoulders whilst Colin compliments Penelope saying: “And then there is the way your cascades down your shoulders.” There is then a very pointed shot of Colin dropping the hair pin and it bouncing off the floor.

However, when we quickly see Penelope again, her hair is still in a bun being held up by the pin but then from a different angle, it’s down again. Now I’ve spotted it I can’t unsee it and it really distracts from the romance of the scene. It’s amazing that no one spotted this, especially as such a point is made of Colin letting down her hair.

The error happens in the very first episode of the new season, after Penelope storms out of the ball when Cressida ruins her new dress. Despite spending ages on her glow-up getting ready for the ball she runs out and throws her hairpiece on the ground. And then when Colin comes out to see if she’s okay and they talk, her hairpiece stays on the ground. But she then gets in her carriage home leaving it still on the floor.

She goes home and then writes the scathing stuff about him in Whilstledown and the camera immediately cuts to her furiously scribbling at her desk wearing, you guessed it, the very same hairpiece that she threw and left on the ground in the previous scene!

Colin becomes left handed when writing

The error actually happens across the season and is constantly switching, but is most prominent in part two, episode six in particular. After Francesca announces her engagement, Colin goes to his study to write (and you can actually read what he secretly writes here!) and Eloise follows him in.

We see him writing with a quill in his right hand scribbling away, the camera then pans to Eloise when she asks him if he’s moping about the chocolate macaroon. But when the camera goes back to Colin he is holding the quill and writing in his left hand!

Eloise grabs Violet’s hand twice

Okay so this one is more of just a continuity error but it still counts – it happens in episode six when Francesca is announcing her engagement. The family is sitting at home fighting over the last chocolate macaroon when Francesca announces the news to them.

In the scene, Eloise sits next to her mother Violet and goes to grab her hand after the announcement. But then the shot cuts out to a wider shot of the room and they do the exact same thing all over again, with Eloise grabbing her mother’s hand.

A side character teleports from scene to scene

This error was spotted by someone on TikTok who apparently used to work at Netflix and is now really good at spotting them. It happens in the very first episode of the new season, around 15 minutes in, when Colin returns from his travels and is chatting to the young ladies of the ton.

Colin is speaking to a group of women, including the lady in the yellow on the left in the picture above. But then he turns to walk away to the next group of ladies and the same woman is there in that group, looking shocked to see him! So she’s either a VERY quick walker, a time traveller or has mastered teleportation.

In that time as the child stars in the Young Sheldon cast have grown up they’ve had some pretty serious transformations. Here’s a rundown of what the child cast of Young Sheldon looked like in their first episodes of season one and what they look like now, seven years later.

Iain Armitage

The titular character and star of Young Sheldon Iain Armitage is also the casts’ youngest actor. Not only is he the youngest cast member but he is also reportedly the highest paid per episode and at the age of 15 years old already has a net worth of $6million.

Raegan Revord

Being a genius turned rebel, she had one of the most interesting storylines and it’s a real shame it wasn’t explored more throughout the show. The show jumps back in time so we see some of the Queen Charlotte characters at two different points in their lives and at two different ages. The scenes in the future are set between seasons two and three of Bridgerton, which is when the spin off was released. India is only a couple of years older than Queen Charlotte, but what about the rest of the cast? Here are the ages of the Queen Charlotte cast, compared how old the actors who play them were at the time:

Queen Charlotte – India Armateifio

The younger of the two versions of the character that we see in Queen Charlotte is meant to be 17, which the audience knows without a doubt as her characters declares: “I am seven and 10 years old!” In real life, India was 20 years old when she played the shows lead.

King George – Corey Mylchreest

It is never explicitly said in the Bridgerton spinoff how old King George is meant to be but they are based on real people and the real King George was 22 when he got married. Corey Mylchreest was 23 years old when the show began filming but celebrated his 24th birthday halfway through its production.

Brimsley – Sam Clemmett

Brimsley’s age isn’t specified but he is thought to be in his early twenties making the character a fair bit younger than the actor Sam Clemmet who was 28 at the time.

Reynolds – Freddie Dennis

The age of Reynolds is also never specified but he is believed to be the same age as his on-screen partner so somwhere between 20 and 25 years old. Freddie Dennis was either 24 or 25 at the time of filming, so pretty much the same age as Reynolds.

Lady Danbury – Arsema Thomas

In the show we find out that Lady Danbury had been promised to her much older husband since the age of three. Her younger self protrayed by then-27-year-old Arsema Thomas is meant to be about mid twenties.

Older Lady Danbury – Adjoa Andoh

Older Lady Danbury is meant to be in her late 50s making the character pretty much the same age as actress Adjoa Andoh who plays her as she was 59 at the time.

Older Queen Charlotte – Golda Rosheuvel

Gold Rosheuvel who plays the older version of Queen Charlotte in both the TV show of the same name and the three Bridgerton series was 52 at the time of filming, the exact same age as her character who is also 52.

Older Violet Bridgerton – Ruth Gemmell

Violet Bridgerton is 48 years old in the scenes depicting her older self, fours younger than Ruth Gemmell who was 52 at the time of filming. In Queen Charlotte, the younger version of Violet is a few years younger than charlotte herself and is not yet out in society meaning she can’t attend Lady Danbury’s ball, no matter how much she wants to.

21-year-old India, who played the shows lead, currently appears to be single. There have been no reports of her dating anyone and no hints on her social media either. Instead, her Instagram is full of photos of her living her best life with her friends.

Corey Mylchreest

Corey has confirmed he has a girlfriend but has not shared her name or any photos of her on his social media. In an interview, he revealed that he was at his girlfriend’s house when he found out he got the role of King George so she was the first person he told. The couple then proceeded to binge watch Bridgerton together.

The university now ranks as third in the world overall only eclipsed by Imperial College London and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US, according to the QS World University Ranking.

The ranking, which began in 2012, has seen Oxford reach second in the world at its peak in 2022 and sixth in the world at its lowest most recently in 2o18.

This year, the university received an overall score of 96.9 out of 100 which was based on a number of factors including employer reputation, academic reputation, and sustainability.

Oxford achieved a perfect score of 100 in five categories including academic reputation and employment outcomes, but only 85 in the sustainability category.

The university also scored well in a number of subjects, with Oxford being ranked first in the world for four subjects: Anatomy and physiology, Anthropology, English literature and language, and Geography. It’s lowest ranking subject is Architecture which sits at joint 28th place in the world.

It also ranked in the top 10 in the world for a whooping 46 further subjects, including all engineering degrees, maths, philosophy and chemistry.

Oxford may not have beat Imperial College London this time, but there’s one university we can always be sure to beat. Nearby Oxford Brookes lived up to its unofficial “motto” of Brookes not books, dropping three place since last year and coming at 416th in the world. Brookes saw it’s peak at 324th in 2016.
